Renew began in our parish began in our parish around 2007.  Here is how one leader describes their activities:
 

We meet twice a year in the fall during Advent and in the spring during Lent for six weeks.  We begin by praying to the Holy Spirit to enlighten us in our faith journey each day.

We take a few minutes to meditate on the Lord and put ourselves in His presence.

As we prepare for Mass the following Sunday, we read the first and second readings and talk about the Gospel reading.  We also have a book which we refer to called the “The Four Gospels: Catholic Personal Study Edition” published by Little Rock Scripture Study.  As we move through the evening, we share our faith experiences relating to the gospel and how we incorporate them into our daily lives.  Allowing each other to look into our hearts and see where the Lord dwells helps us to realize that we are not alone but a Christian Community who cares and prays together.
 

RENEW meets twice a year for six weeks during Lent on Thursday mornings at 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM.  We prepare for the following  Sunday Mass by calling on the Holy Spirit to help us to better understand the scriptures and make them part of our daily lives.
