Participate in the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) Program.
The Religious Education Program begins with Pre-K classes and continues through the eighth grade. In addition to the general program. we offer programs that aid very young and older students in the process of faith formation and receipt of Sacraments.
The early childhood religious education program for 4 and 5 year olds is based on the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. Classes will meet on Wednesdays from 4:30 to 6:00 pm
Religious Education General Program - 1st grade through the 7th grade classes meet on Wednesdays from 4:30 to 6:00 pm. It is important that students attend each year.
Older Students (Age 7-13) that need to receive any of the Sacraments must attend the two year program in order to receive Sacraments. Students will be placed in the general program after they receive the sacraments. Classes meet on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8:00 pm
RCIA Teens (Age 14-18) that need to receive any of the Sacraments must attend the two year catechumen program. The program meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. In the second year of the program, Candidates receive the Sacraments at the Easter Vigil.
How to register
Registration forms may be obtained from the Parish Office or you may fill out the form online.
Completed forms must be accompanied by a copy of the child's birth certificate, baptism certificate must be submitted along with payment at the time of registration.
Payment is by check or money order payable to Our Lady of Good Counsel .
New Registrations must be submitted to the Parish Office Monday - Friday during Parish Office hours.
